Knocking Marrero out of the top affordable spot, the 70094 zip code recorded the highest number of sales up to $100,000. Including homes in Westwego, Avondale, Bridge City, and Waggaman, it looks like investment properties and renovation opportunities are being scooped up near the Huey P. Long.

Marrero, once again, is the winner in the $100k-$200k price range, with 23 of the 74 homes sold. As a comparison, there were only 55 homes sold in this range in all of the city of New Orleans in November. The West Bank is definitely the place to find affordable housing!

Marrero hung in there again in November, but Algiers picked up the pace in the $200k-$300k range, ending with a tie between the two communities. The majority of the Marrero sales were new construction in Bent Tree, while the most popular Algiers subdivisions were Park Timbers and Tall Timbers.
