Lowest prices sales on the West Bank

January to July 2014: 3542 Vespasian Dr in Algiers. A 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo in very good condition, it sold for $7,000 or $10.77 per square foot.

January to July 2015: 2045 Maharry Drive in Marrero. A bank owned 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in fair condition, it sold for $7,500 or $16.70 per square foot.

Highest priced sales on the West Bank

January to July 2014: 102 Green Trails Drive, a newly built 4 bedroom, 5 bath home in the Parks of Plaquemines in Belle Chasse. It sold for $965,000 or $158.20 per square foot.

January to July 2015: 8 English Turn Drive in Algiers, a 5 bedroom, 3 bath home in excellent condition. It sold for $765,000 or $161.05 per square foot.

New Orleans West Bank Home Price Changes by Zip Code

Harvey and Marrero are the only West Bank communities with a drop in average home and condo sale prices from 2014 to 2015. Belle Chasse is the clear neighborhood of choice for those that can afford it, with a 10.95% increase in average purchase prices.

Belle Chasse remains the most expensive zip code on the West Bank, while Westwego and the rest of the 70094 zip code remain the most affordable option.
