While a private masseuse can be a little pricey, there is a low cost alternative on the West Bank right in Algiers. Students at the Delgado Community College massage therapy program offer massages to the public for only $15 for a 50-55 minute session.
What a bargain! The students get to practice their skills, working out the kinks so to speak, while you get to be pampered and relaxed. I might not want an experimental hair cut, but anyone who has been trained to perform massage therapy is welcome to practice on me anytime.
