• Based on August sales, there is a 14.75 month supply of homes for sale in Belle Chasse.  Remember that some closings may have been delayed due to the evacuation for Hurricane Gustav.

The number of Belle Chasse homes sold in August (4) was the same as August 2007, but down substantially from 12 in 2006, 8 in 2005 and 10 in 2004.  Again, some of this decrease may be attributed to the end of month evacuation that delayed some closings.
