Gustav Damage in Jefferson Parish?

If you live in or own a business in Jefferson Parish (East Bank or West Bank) and had water or structural damage from Hurricane Gustav, the parish wants to know about it!
Jefferson Parish officials are attempting to gain an accurate count of damaged properties in order to apply for federal assistance should it become available. Also, the parish is working on building a database of areas that are flood prone to help in planning future drainage projects. Everyone in the parish could benefit in the future if you take the time to report your damage today.
Reports from both incorporated and unincorporated areas will be taken by the Jefferson Parish Department of Citizens Affairs from 8 am to 5 pm daily. You can reach the department at (504) 736-6000 or (504) 736-6100. While the phone lines will be open until further notice, I recommend that you report your damage as quickly as possible to avoid being left out!
