The Terrytown and Gretna real estate market has slowed in the last few weeks, with inventory increasing from the 8.9 months recorded in June 2008 to the current 11.7 months supply of homes for sale.

  • Active listings have increased from 195 to 207.  While this is a slight increase, it is coupled with a slowdown in the number of homes being sold each month.
  • Home sellers in Terrytown and Gretna should continue to keep an eye on their competition, especially in their own subdivisions, to ensure that they are still the best value to home buyers in the area
