The Belle Chasse market is showing improvement, with the supply of homes dropping from 13.8 months in June to the current 9.9 months.
- While the number of available listings has dropped, the number of homes sold each month has increased from 5 (June 2008) to 6.7 as of today
- There continues to be a strong demand for homes priced under $200,000 in Belle Chasse
- Continuing military relocation to NAS JRB New Orleans should sustain demand for homes in the area
